It ’s uncommon that Apple ’s patents really show the exact manikin factors of devices they have in maturation , but this “ dual sided trackpad ” patent for a speech sound seems to emphatically show that they ’ve got some flipphone version coming up . The patent of invention itself outlines a phone that has two multitouch sensors , both on the “ bottom ” part of the sound . When it ’s come together , the phone work like your current model iPhone . When it ’s undecided , only the bottom part of the phone is touch - tender , whereas the top part is just a show .
The top / bottom touchscreen difference has the interesting effect of bring some Modern feature such as really drawing out a figure on the touchpad , spread out and old schoolhouse telephone dial ( ? ) , simulating a T9 dialpad , or even have both sides of the touch screen alive at once for some gaga control .
What ’s the tip of this ? Besides new feature , apparently many mass detest the candybar form ingredient and wo n’t even consider a phone a literal phone unless it ’s a clamshell . Like Jack Bauer , for instance . [ Unwired View ]
