With the Consumer Electronics Show just day away , a very curious billboard has surfaced in Las Vegas that prominently blow Apple ’s privacy standard . Playing to city ’s own infamous tagline , it reads : “ What bump on your iPhone , stays on your iPhone . ”
The billboard was spotted by Engadget ’s Chris Velazco , whotweetedan image of it Friday . With Apple rival adjust to showcase their flashygadgets and emerging technologythis week in Sin City ( Apple does not take part ) , it sure as shooting appears that the company is throwing sticker in the general direction of its competition .
“ Every Apple mathematical product is design from the ground up to protect that information . And to authorise you to choose what you share and with whom , ” Apple states on its site . “ We ’ve proved sentence and again that great experiences do n’t have to come at the disbursement of your privacy and security . ”

AndroidandGoogle , Samsung , andAmazonhave all had their sightly portion of big privacy and/or data collecting scandal , to be sure . And it ’s honest that Apple doestake measuresto ensure that user data point is protect , including by anonymizing information . Apple’sT2 security department chipis an incredible piece of surety ironware . But Apple is not without inculpation for its part in instance of jeopardized drug user privateness .

Moreover , Apple has no hard cut - off for webcams on any of its devices , mean many of us sport stickers on our bezel .
Companies arenot your acquaintance , even if they require you to consider they are . And it seems unwise to suggest that any company is consummate in the business of privacy .
