Es Safa is a striking basaltic volcanic field located to the southeast of Damascus , Syria , see in an image released today . It lies within the heavy Harrat Ash Shamah the largest volcanic playing area on the Arabiantectonic plate .

Es Safa Basaltic Volcano Field.

Es Safa hold in legion vents that were active during the Holocene Epoch , which begin around 12,000 years ago .
