The Doctor ’s TARDIS has long been stuck in one human body : that of a blue police boxful . But what if , in alternating timeline , the substitute doctor ’ alternate TARDISes were still call boxes ( Edit : albeit of a different mixture ) , but covered in butterfly and bedazzled Union Jacks ?
Much like Chicago ’s Cow Parade , the BT Artbox project asks artists to create modern reinterpretations on the same theme , in this case the classic Gilbert Scott call box . The box have been instal throughout London , give the impression that the city is the link point for a transdimensional issue involving unnumbered Doctor – some of questionable taste .

Edit : I was n’t clear enough on the point that these are regular call box rather than the police call loge . It ’s my American showing , but call boxes of any sort remind me of the TARDIS . Commenter HarlequiN QB notes that these are , more appropriately , Inspector Spacetime ’s call box time automobile from Community .
