Friday the 13th/Jason Never Dies
In conversation withBloody - Disgusting , Friday the thirteenth Part VI : Jason Lives manager Tom McLoughlin unwrap his pitch for a new entrance in the franchise titled Jason Never Dies . So I basically kind of give up the idea of bringing him and Megan back , and went for this idea that the hoi polloi involved in this one are going to be double-dyed innocents . There ’s not going to be like I had in the other one , where they were ca-ca Jason jokes and all that kind of thing . They have no melodic theme who this is , so it cash in one’s chips back to that : “ Oh , my God , is this a goliath ? Is this an extraterrestrial ? What the hell is this that ’s causing these execution ? ”
One other thing I ’ll give away is that the entire cast is distaff , with the exception of Jason . And then there ’s three or four other things that have not been done before , which I ’ll harbor back on so there can be some surprise .
But it ’s been talked about for old age — doing a film position in wintertime — because obviously blood looks real good on white-hot coke . And I wanted to check that that the kill are unique to that , in terms of where Jason is and what he gets ahold of , and how bodies are go away . I tried to be as inventive as I could and still keep that dark sense of humor that I had in the [ 1986 film ] . perhaps even a small darker in this special interpretation . It ’ll have all the thing that the buff have get along to know and love , but with some whirl within that .
