When I first heard about the contest I had no melodic theme how I was start to comprise a person into the gibe . I played around briefly with just motivate an LED light around in an environs which I call back was moderately cool . I finally settled on the idea of circulate around a person since I tried it and thought it look reasonably cool , but I had no idea how I was go to make it into a horizontal guess . My first idea was to circle around the person and then just have the light lead off and do its own matter . I then thought of doing a secondary empty wrap , which lead me to the idea of teleporting . From their my matching brother ( the issue in the gibe ) and I played around with how best to link up the two people and how to correspond the whole tracing into 30 arcsecond . This was the result .

These were taken in the cellar of my building . Exposure was limit at 25 sec , f/22 with a 18 - 55 outfit lens on my Nikon D40 , ISO 200 . I had a friend stand behind me in the same position as me , and she moved her weaponry harbour the sparklers to the boxwood and towards my mitt . I only used photoshop for breaking ball , contrast , exposure , some color adjustment , and to sidestep the water a bit . Sharpening was done in Lightroom . I was kick the bucket for a Cole kind of effect from iNFAMOUS(videogame ) . I used oil on my skin to give a second of a sweaty effect and even though you ca n’t see it , some dirt from the floors   : D. This is what happens when my friend Andy explodes in anger — we were just stand around in shadow taking unexposed depiction of ourselves , and then BAM !

earnestly though , we set up in a big cellar , and to get this shot Andy stood on the floor and I balanced atop a icebox . The sluttish control board produced the thick streak of light and crystallise us two subjects , while the chief lamp was used for the double wave . We find the crushed ISO caused fairly much everything that was n’t directly illuminated to be obscured . We were n’t able to obviate a fleck of motion fuzz as it took some time to paint the subjects sufficiently , and peculiarly in my case it was a tough pose to hold .
