Last week on the cyberspace , people start to share photos of a " baby duckbilled platypus " looking adorable as hell .

For a few days , it seemed you could n’t scroll through any parts of the Internet without multitude say " LOOK AT THIS . It is a babe PLATYPUS and I DEMAND you LOOK AT IT " .

Sometimes , the little thing was wearing a rodeo rider chapeau . And sometimes a eyeglass .

Others took it as a good portent .

Several mega - viral tweets were deleted in pity , because , as they belike got nauseated of being informed a thousand sentence a minute :   It ’s not a infant duckbilled platypus , it ’s a rock .
