Wonkafans will soon be able to step into a stay of pure imagination!
Working in collaboration with Highgate Hotels, fans of the soon-to-be-released prequel film starringTimothée Chalametin the titular role will be able to book stays in rooms atPark Lane New Yorkin New York City andViceroy Santa Monicain Los Angeles, which have been transformed into candified wonderlands.At Park Lane New York’s Conservatory Suite and Viceroy Santa Monica’s Palmetto King Suite, guests will be immersed in the film with features such as life-sized chocolate confections and a chocolate bar bed topped with marshmallows, which is “set amidst cotton candy clouds for the sweetest dreams,” per the release.
The experience, which will also come with tickets to seeWonkain theaters, will become bookable on a first-come, first-served basis for two pairs of guests on Dec. 13 at 12 p.m. EST. Atthe film’s London premiereearlier this month, Chalamet told PEOPLE that he had to learn how to “live and love the tone” of the film, noting, “I realized everything I’ve worked on [has had a] grounded seriousness to it, and here I had to loosen up and play, kind of like I did in high school, but I hadn’t done in 10 years or something.”
He added, “So, that was the learning curve. But once it was in full swing, then it felt like we were cookin.' “Wonkawill hit theaters on Dec. 15.
