Football fans across the globe are getting their streaming setups in order for the 2025Super Bowl.
On Feb. 9, theKansas City Chiefswill face off against thePhiladelphia Eaglesfor the championship title and the coveted Vince Lombardi Trophy. Even though this is the third consecutive Super Bowl for the Chiefs, tight endTravis Kelcesaid this game feels “new.”
“We got a lot of new players, we got a lot of different faces from the previous two Super Bowl runs," he said onJason Kelce’s showThey Call It Late Nightin February 2025. “And it’s really a different identity on the offensive side for sure … I think it’s just a new, like, mindset on the offensive side … it’s a new journey.”
In addition to a nail-biting matchup, viewers can also expect A-list entertainment in the form ofTaylor Swiftcameos,star-studded commercialsand a highly-anticipated halftime performance fromKendrick Lamarand guestSZA.

What time does the 2025 Super Bowl start?

Super Bowl 2025 will officially kickoff at 6:30 p.m. EST, per theNFL.
Anyone who wants to catch the pre-game acts — which includeJon Batistebelting “The Star-Spangled Banner” — should start tuning in an hour earlier, according toFOX, which is where the big game will be aired this year.
But of course, the Super Bowl isn’t the only televised competition to look forward to on Feb. 9.The 21st annual Puppy Bowlwill return to Animal Planet and feature a record-breaking number of 142 adoptable canines from 80 different shelters across 40 states and two countries.
Team Ruff and Team Fluff will square off on the puppy-sized football field to see who can make the most touchdowns and take home the “Lombarky” trophy. There’s even a halftime show with kitten performances.

Fans will need to tune in to FOX or FOX Deportes (the network’s Spanish-language sports channel) to watch the 2025 Super Bowl on cable.
This is the second time in the last three years that FOX will host the Super Bowl. The last time the channel aired the big game was in 2023 when the Eagles beat the Chiefs in overtime.
