As they celebrate their daughterTrue‘sfirst birthday, exesKhloé KardashianandTristan Thompsonare putting their child first.
“Khloé has no desire to shut Tristan out of True’s life. He is her father and Khloé is much bigger than that,” a source tells PEOPLE about Kardashian and the NBA player, who plans to see the 1-year-old for her birthday.
“They communicate about True of course, but they aren’t getting back together,” the source adds.
Kardashian, 34, and Thompson, 28, have yet to be publicly spotted together since he was accused of hooking up withJordyn Woods, a longtimefriend of the famous family, in February.

An insider told PEOPLE last month that Kardashian was trying to work out the best way to celebrate True’s birthday following the cheating scandal.
According to the insider, Kardashian’s family members — in particular, sisterKim Kardashian West— were furious with the NBA player, who was first caught allegedly cheating on Kardashian last year when photos and videos surfaced of him getting close to other women just two days before shegave birth to their daughter.
So for True’s birthday, “Khloé is figuring out how to get Tristan involved,” the source explained. “She can’t see how he canbe around her family at a party, though. Everyone is just too upset with him.”

“Happy birthday my sweet True!! You are my ultimate True love!” theKeeping Up with the Kardashiansreality star wrote on social media. “I am honored and so thankful to be your mommy! Today and until the end of time, I love you!! We have forever.”
The Good American mogul added, “I am so utterly obsessed with her. This first year has been amazing. And I really feel like I was meant to do this.”
