Liam Gallagheris airing out his grievances with the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Speaking toThe Sunday Timesover the weekend, Gallagher — who isnominated for this year’s classwith his Oasis bandmates — expressed contempt for artists who haven’t recorded songs in the rock genre.

“As much as I love Mariah Carey and all that, I want to say: do me a favor and f— off,” Gallagher, 51, told the outlet.

He continued, “It’s like putting me in the rap hall of fame, and I don’t want to be part of anything that mentally disturbed. Besides, I’ve done more for rock n’ roll than half of them clowns on that board. So it’s all a load of bollocks.”

This year’s slate of nominees for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame includeMary J. Blige,Mariah Carey,Cher,Dave MatthewsBand, Eric B. & Rakim, Foreigner,Peter Frampton, Jane’s Addiction, Kool & the Gang,Lenny Kravitz, Oasis,Sinead O’Connor,Ozzy Osbourne, Sade and A Tribe Called Quest.

“As much as it’s appreciated it’s all a load of bollox,“he wrote.

The nominees were announced earlier this month. Ten of the 15 nominees are appearing on the ballot for the first time, including Carey, Cher, Kravitz, Osbourne, Sade andthe late O’Connor.

Thirteen artistsmade last year’s class of inductees into the Hall of Fame — among them,George Michaelposthumously,Chaka Khan,Missy Elliott, Kate Bush andSheryl Crow.

In the past, the topic of artists who don’t make rock music receiving a nomination has sparked debate. Last year for example,Dolly Partontried opting out of her induction, saying that she hadn’t “earned that right.”

Parton was still inducted — and the move inspired her to release a rock album of her own calledRockstar.

Meanwhile, Gallagher is set tohit the roadfor a small string of shows in the summer where he’ll performOasis’former band’s debut LP,Definitely Maybe.

“I’m bouncing around the house to announce theDefinitely MaybeTour. The most important album of the ‘90s bar none. I wouldn’t be anywhere without it and neither would you, so let’s celebrate together LG x,” he wrote alongside a tour poster in October.

The tour is set to launch June 2 in Sheffield and will run through June 27, where it concludes in Manchester.
