Linda Evangelistawalked the red carpet at Tuesday’ssecond annual Caring for Women Dinnerwith her son,Augustin James Evangelista.
Evangelista, 58, shares Augustin, 16, with ex-partner, French businessmanFrançois-Henri Pinault. Augustin’s father and his wife,Salma Hayek Pinault, are co-chairs of the event.

The fashion icon and her son share a close relationship. In a February 2022 interview with PEOPLE, Evangelista credited Augustin assomeone who gave her the strengthto shareher experience with CoolSculpting, a fat-freezing body contouring procedure.
“It is very important for me to raise him knowing that he is beautiful and knowing that everyone is beautiful,” she said. “It’s so messed up that I truly believe that, except it doesn’t pertain to me.”
In anInstagram tributein honor of his 16th birthday in October, the Canadian fashion model also recognized him assomeone who is “My heart. My light.”

While her son has been raised relatively out of the spotlight, she shared in a 2013 interviewwithHarper’s Bazaarthat theydon’t share a common love of fashion.
“Let’s just say I have a child who doesn’t like fashion,” she told the outlet at the time. “He wants jerseys. We watch sports and go to games. I do boy things now.”

“I don’t mind and I never did mind aging,” Evangelista toldVogue. “Aging gets us to where we want to be, and that’s for me a long life. [Late makeup artist] Kevyn Aucoin was so afraid of wrinkles and he never got them. I want wrinkles — but I Botox my forehead so I am a hypocrite — but I want to grow old. I want to watch my son [Augie] grow into a fine young man. I just want to stick around.”
