Nikki BellaandArtem Chigvintsevevidently had chemistry in the ballroom — and now, theDancing with the Starsduo has it off the dance floor as well.
More than a year afterBella was eliminatedin 2017 from season 25 of the ABC reality dancing competition series, she andDWTSpro Chigvintsev reunited for a lunch date.
And from the looks of it, they were very happy to see one another.
“Today I’m meeting Artem for lunch, and Artem was myDancing with the Starspro. The last time I saw Artem I was in a relationship for so long, so I’m just really excited to see him today,” Bella, 35, said in anE! Newsclip of Sunday’sTotal Bellasepisode.
They reconciled and split a few more times, but in July, she confirmed that she and Cena hadparted waysfor good in an exclusive statement to PEOPLE.
Now, the distance between Bella and Chigvintsev appears to have made their hearts grow fonder.
Upon seeing one another for the first time in a long while, they embraced as he told her, “it’s been ages.”
After sharing a big hug, Bella wasn’t shy about complimenting her former dance partner.
“You look good,” she told him.
“A lot’s happened since I’ve seen you last, which has been like a long time,” she added, presumably alluding to her split from Cena.
“Yeah, it’s been a while,” he replied. “You’ve been traveling?”
“A lot,” she said with a smirk as he flashed a megawatt smile.
Earlier this month, a source confirmed to PEOPLE that theDWTSpartners are dating.
“They’ve been spending time together for a long time, but it’s nothing serious right now,” another insider told PEOPLE of the couple.
“They have a strong attraction to each other, but they’re just having fun,” said the insider. “They’re both extremely busy with their own careers, so they spend time together when they can.”
