After months of anticipation, the long-awaitedVanderpump Rulesseason 10 reunionfinally arrived — and it was even more dramatic than we expected.
Viewers had been looking forward to the post-finale cast reunion since early March, when news of themonths-long affairbetween costarsRaquel LevissandTom Sandovalfirst broke, ultimately ending Sandoval’snine-year relationshipwith girlfriendAriana Madix.
The three-part special officiallykicked offon May 24, andAndy Cohenwasted no time diving right into the“Scandoval”drama. Part 1 opened with Cohen sitting down with Sandoval, Leviss and Madix for separate one-on-one discussions, and the Bravo host didn’t mince words when talking about all the negative attention surrounding the TomTom bar owner.
“It kind of feels like you’re the most hated man on television right now,” he told Sandoval.
The reunion marked the first time Sandoval and Leviss faced the largerVanderpumpgroup after the world learned of their cheating scandal. Due to therestraining orderLeviss filed against her costarScheana Shay, however, she wasunable to be in the roomfor the first part of the reunion and insteadwatched the drama unfold in a trailerin a parking lot outside the studio. (Leviss accused Shay of punching her during an argument after the affair came to light, though she laterfiled to drop the protective orderand it was dismissed.Shay deniedthe accusations.)

Ahead of the premiere, Cohen promised fans they wouldn’t be disappointed with the conclusion of season 10, telling PEOPLE thatviewers would see “retribution"for Sandoval and Leviss’s affair.
“I think what people seem to want is for Tom and Raquel to be — they want to see the confrontation between Ariana and all the friends,” he shared, “and they will get that.”

Raquel wanted to know why Tom Sandoval didn’t come clean to Ariana earlier

“Sandoval, once you started your relationship with Raquel, why not come clean to Ariana right then?” Cohen pressed.
Sitting in her trailer, Leviss revealedshewas also curious about Sandoval’s response, saying, “I want him to answer this question.”
Sandoval demurred, telling Cohen, “I was obviously scared to. I think also she was going through a lot during that time. And I didn’t want to add anything.”

Tom Schwartz first learned of the affair in August
Since the cheating scandal broke, fans have wondered how long Sandoval’s best friend and business partner Schwartz knew about the affair.
After Cohen asked Schwartz point blank when he first learned of Sandoval and Leviss’s hook-up, Schwartz said that he initially only knew that Sandoval had confided in Leviss about the problems in his relationship.
“You pretty much told her everything that you’ve been telling me. You guys had like a kind of an intimate moment,” Schwartz recalled.
Schwartz added that he learned of Sandoval and Leviss’s first time cheating in “late August after [Shay’s]wedding,” prompting Sandoval to react with confusion.
Kent then asked, “Oh no, did you not put your timelines together to match?” before the scene flashed to Cohen and Sandoval’s sit-down, during which he alleged that he told his TomTom co-founder about the affair in"mid- to late January.”

Ariana knew Tom Sandoval cheated on her with “Miami girl” but chose to forgive him
Back in 2015, Sandoval was accused of cheating on Madix at the start of their relationship during a trip to Miami. Sandoval vehemently denied the rumors at the time, and Madix defended her boyfriend.
At the reunion, Cohen asked Madix why she had been willing to forgive Sandoval after his first transgression.
“We were not really exclusive at that time,” she responded. “And I saw the rest of my life with this person, and I wanted everyone to see the best in him because that’s what I saw at the time.”

Raquel admits she was planning on being “deceitful” with Ariana about the affair

Inpart 2 of the reunion, Leviss sat down in a one-on-one pre-interview with Cohen, revealing she was planning on lying to Madix about the length of the affair.
“It was a lot of pain that I felt from her,” said Leviss of when she finally spoke to Madix about the affair. “She begged me to tell her when it all happened. And at this point we were going to tell her, we just wanted to get our story straight, basically because he felt like it would hurt her if she knew how long this has been going on.”
She also went on to say she had previously put the “blame” on Madix, saying there were “many signs” that it felt like Madix was purposely ignoring.
“She never pressed about it,” Leviss said. “She never confronted me about it. From what I know what Tom has told me, she didn’t question him too much about it just believed like at face value what he would tell her.”
“That kind of sounds like you’re blaming her,” Cohen replied.
“At the time, I think that was my mindset,” she explained. “And I now know that she really did want to know, and it was very deceitful. I’m very ashamed of it.”

Sandoval responded that Schwartz could have evaded the question, saying, “You know you can tell people it’s none of your business? I’m taking my medication.”
Schwartz then offered a pill to Madix but she declined.

Andy gave Scheana papers that showed Raquel dropped her restraining order
Since Leviss had to stay 100 yards away from Shay, the responsibility fell on Cohen to deliver Shay the papers stating that Leviss dropped the restraining order she filed after Shay’s alleged assault.
“Having this for the last few weeks — first of all, the betrayal,” she said. “Two of my best friends, that is heartbreaking in itself. But then to throw all of this on top of it when I did nothing but take care of her. I gave her a home to live in when she didn’t have anywhere to go. I was the sister to her that she didn’t have growing up. I did everything for her, and for her to do this to me, it has taken such a toll on me.”
In her one-on-one with Cohen, Leviss admitted she regretted filing the order and went through the effort to have it dropped.
“I completely regret filing the restraining order and I’ve been taking every measure to get it dropped,” Leviss said. “I spoke with my lawyer and he was able to file a request to dismiss the court hearing altogether and this is the paperwork showing that for Scheana.”

Madix immediately expressed her disgust for the former pageant queen, calling out her “diabolical, demented, disgusting, subhuman” role in the affair.
Cohen later questioned Leviss and Sandoval about why they didn’t come clean or end the affair.
Leviss responded, “It was impossible to turn away from.”
After Cohen prompted, “You were in love,” she responded, “Yes.”
The host then asked Sandoval the same question. After a long pause, he answered, “I’m sorry, yes.”
